Fleet Assist wins What Van Innovation Award

Monday 6th January 2025

We were very pleased to end 2024 by winning our third award of the year – this time What Van’s Innovation award for our Premier Van Centre network.

The 996-strong Premier van garage network enables the Fleet Assist team and its customers to assign the right garage to undertake SMR on larger vans to ensure customer LCVs are serviced and MOT’d in a timely fashion to get vehicles back on the road expediently.

This includes matching up 4.25-tonne GVW electric vans where the majority of the garages have the premises, equipment, and technicians in place to service and maintain these larger vehicles.

What Van judges commented: “To accommodate the anticipated growth of new electric vans plated at 4.25 tonnes, Fleet Assist has made sure it is well prepared to cover increased demand by subscribing a nationwide network of Premier Van Centres capable of servicing and maintaining vans and chassis cabs of this weight.”

This adds to the Innovation in SMR award presented to us by Fleet World for re-engineering our Atlas Business Intelligence platform to include valuable EV data.

Meanwhile, in the summer Motor Trader awarded us its After Sales Provider of the Year accolade recognising the value of our Lemon Penguin garage services programme which gives independent garages access to purchasing ability and commercial rates normally reserved for larger, franchised businesses.

Nikos Kotrozos Fleet Assist’s Supply chain director explained we are delighted that Fleet Assist network continues to receive the recognition and accolades that make it the industry benchmark.
